At Memórias restaurant, Portuguese cuisine takes center stage in the hands of Chef Luís Almeida. With direct access from the outside, the restaurant is open to the public and can be visited by anyone passing through Santar for lunch, dinner, refreshments or an aperitif.
Here you can enjoy a cuisine with roots, using traditional and local products and modern cooking techniques combined with traditional cuisine, resulting in a tasty reinterpretation of the region's classics. The products are, whenever possible, a legacy of Beira, bought from local producers and of known origin, in an approach that is increasingly intended to be "from the garden to the plate". The star ingredients include kid from Caramulo, cheese from Serra da Estrela, hazelnuts from Viseu and vegetables from the community garden.
